We engage in the mission of reconciliation wherever people are separated from one another.

Justice & Peace

Our mission of unity and reconciliation impels us to strive to promote
right relationships through efforts that advocate justice.
We stand with the poor in the struggle for justice, incarnating hope, by seeking
to improve the quality of human life and the care of the good earth.

- Constitution, Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston – Spirit and Purpose

The Office of Justice and Peace, is responsible for coordinating our public response to critical social issues that affect society and the ways we interact with creation. By promoting awareness, encouraging reflection, initiating calls to action, and by suggesting appropriate responses, this office gives public voice to the social consciousness of the Congregation.
