Serving the Dear Neighbor in Emergency Shelters

Peggy Comfrey, CSJ

Sisters, Associates and Agrégées donated items most needed in the emergency shelters which house homeless families, including recently arrived migrants – winter coats, hats, gloves, diapers and toiletries. Students and friends from Boston College packed the items and delivered them to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. This was in addition to advocacy efforts calling on the Legislature to provide funding to keep the shelters open.
