Mass at Divine Mercy Parish at Sacred Heart Church, Quincy, on November 26th honored the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston for 150 years of service in the Archdiocese of Boston. Toward the end of his remarks, Lorraine Quinn, CSJ, was presented with flowers for her years of service at Sacred Heart School. Sister Lorraine was the only sister present who had ministered at the school. She, in turn, told him she would present the flowers to Sister Prudence McCarthy, who was known for her service to the Sacred Heart Parish community. Sister Prudence, our centenarian (101, to be precise!) was delighted to receive the beautiful roses!
