Nuns Against Gun Violence Vigil
Communications Office
In honor of National Gun Violence Awareness day, on Friday June 2nd, several of our sisters and employees gathered to join us in a prayer vigil. Sisters and staff from Bethany Health Care Center, St. Joseph Hall, and 42 Stellman Rd. Community joined in the prayer vigil and wore orange in to mark this day.
Sisters, associates, agrégées, and employees alike gathered in solidarity with groups across the country praying for an end to the senseless deaths and injuries resulting from gun violence.
We continue to pray for those affected by gun violence, as well as for a change of heart that will result in legislative action on behalf of the common good and the enactment of gun laws that protect all in society, especially the most vulnerable.
