In keeping with our desire to share our spiritual gifts and resources with others, Morning and Evenings of Prayer are offered. These prayer experiences include a presentation on a particular theme, time for quiet prayer and reflection, an opportunity to share and a communal closing prayer.  Simple hospitality is part of each gathering.

Sister Clare Walsh, MHSH

Sr. Clare Walsh is a Mission Helper of the Sacred Heart, a community without walls, founded in 1890 by four laywomen in Baltimore, MD. Clare is a graduate of Weston Jesuit School of Theology. She spent nearly 20 years as the Director of Pastoral Care at Tufts Medical Center, 4 years on the staff of the Center for Religious Development ( a spiritual Direction Training Program), 10 years as Assistant to the Jesuit Provincial for Ignatian Spirituality and Asst Director of The Jesuit Collaborative. In between, Clare served as Formation Director for MHSH and served on the Leadership team for 8 years. Currently, Clare is a fundraiser for women Asylees and their children who reside at the Mission Helpers motherhouse in Baltimore. She also teaches a Practicum in Spiritual Direction at the School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College and is a retreat and spiritual director.
