Let Your Spirit Come Upon These Gifts
Afternoon of Prayer – St. Joseph Spiritual Ministries
Sunday, March 7, 2021
3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Catholics prayed the 1975 version of Eucharistic Prayer II for over thirty years.
“Let your Spirit come upon these gifts to make them holy,
so that they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.”
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin wrote:
“Since once again, Lord, I have neither bread, nor wine, nor altar to say Mass,
I will make the whole earth my altar and on it will offer you all the labors and all the sufferings of the world.”
What do we bring to the Table, and are we able to inhabit its sanctification?
