Mass of Remembrance 2025:

Life is Not Ended, but Changed

What a great opportunity to come together to greet old friends. We take this opportunity to pray together for those who have gone before us. Life is not ended, but changed. We, as Christians, believe in transformation; we believe in the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We come together to pray, to remember, and to share our belief in the resurrected Christ.

The month of November begins with the Feast of All Saints, and I don’t believe it is any accident that November 2 is the Feast of All Souls. We Sisters of St. Joseph, pray for all those souls you recommended to us. Family members, friends, colleagues, those you miss terribly. Those you would give anything to see again. The names scrolling during today’s liturgy are names of those who you requested be remembered during this year alone. All loved ones. Their legacy lives on in our hearts, and certainly in our prayer.
