Arlington Catholic dedicates 2022 yearbook to Sister Barbara McHugh, CSJ

This spring, Arlington Catholic High School dedicated its 2022 yearbook to Sister Barbara McHugh, CSJ.

From Arlington Catholic’s yearbook:

We, the class of 2022, are truly grateful for all of our teachers who have helped us along the way. However, we would especially like to recognize one very special person whose warm personality and kind spirits have made her a friend to all at Arlington Catholic. This one-of-a-kind person is Sister Barbara. Sister Barbara is loved by all here at AC, as her dedication to both the Arlington Catholic Community and St. Agnes Parish has been a beacon of light for all of us to follow. Sister Barbara has always remained easy-going, welcoming, and has given freely of herself and of her time. Her support for Arlington Catholic as a whole is unwavering.

She truly is the embodiment of selflessness, service, and integrity. Her kind words and loving presence brightened each day, even during unprecedented times we have endured for the past couple of years. From her pleasant greetings in the halls to reminding students that they are constantly in her prayers, Sister Barbara never fails to touch the AC community with her kind heart. Sister Barbara began teaching theology here at AC 28 years ago. She has also led our Campus Ministry program for many years. Sister Barbara has a new role here at Arlington Catholic – she is now our Alumni Relations Ambassador. She has dedicated her time to guiding students, and now alumni, in growing and flourishing in their faith.

Thank you Sister Barbara, from the bottom of our hearts, for being a friend to all who enter Arlington Catholic.
