The Literacy Connection was awarded a grant to provide tutoring in English, literacy, and citizenship preparation to 13 adults in GPA programs in Allston-Brighton.

The Harvard Allston Partnership Fund (HAPF) was created by Harvard and the City of Boston, in collaboration with the Allston-Brighton community, to support neighborhood improvement projects, cultural enrichment, and educational programming in North Allston-Brighton. The program awards $100,000 in grants each year.

Since its creation in 2008, the HAPF has provided $800,000 in grants to 25 local organizations, supporting programs for more than 4,300 Allston-Brighton residents.
