The Spirituality Center Open House

On a lovely October afternoon, friends, new and old, gathered at the Spirituality Center for an open house celebration. Staff and members of the SJSM Advisory Board welcomed guests and showcased the many beautiful spaces available for prayer and meetings at The Spirituality Center. In the library shelved with books and spiritual resources, everyone enjoyed lively conversation around a table laden with delicious refreshments. One guest noted that it was her first apple cider of the season. 

The Spirituality Center offers space and programs for all to grow and deepen their relationship with God. Individuals are invited for Respite Days for a period of rest in an environment of beauty and quiet for a few hours or to make a day of it. Spirituality groups and Parish staffs have an opportunity to bring groups for meetings and day retreats.

A guest at the open house shared how much she benefited from the day she spent at the Center this summer. She appreciated the silence and the time for prayer which left her feeling refreshed and renewed. Another guest exclaimed after a full tour of The Center: “The whole space oozes warmth and hospitality!”
